Everyday, around the same time, I see him through the glass window making his way to the shop. Sometimes he is greeted by friends and they share a tart or two.Today he is alone. He grabs a newspaper in which he has no intention to read and seats himself at the window. The cafe almost acts as a prop, as if to give him a reason to come in and sit in this busy space when all he really wants to do is have a yahn.He orders a ‘laddae’ with the waitress, even though though the baristas are half way done making it it as soon as they saw him then sits at the window.It makes me giggle because the waitress, my friend, was at first was very confused about the order. A ‘latte’ I said to her... ohhhhhh she mimicked back. And we both said together through laughter 😌😌😌 a laddae 😂
